Built by the community. Designed for relevance, depth, and meaningful exchange.
The Gatineau Ottawa Agile Tour (GOAT) is an annual one-day conference held in the heart of Canada's national capital region. Focused on sharing real-world experiences and learning from one another, GOAT brings together practitioners, coaches, leaders, and change-makers from across the Gatineau–Ottawa region and beyond.
GOAT is proudly part of the international Agile Tour — a grassroots movement that takes place in more than 90 cities worldwide each year. Since its founding in 2012, GOAT has grown into one of the premier community-driven Agile events in Canada.
GOAT exists to strengthen the Agile community in the Greater Gatineau/Ottawa region by creating a welcoming, inclusive space where practitioners at all levels can:
The event works when people bring their best self, contribute what they know, and leave with stronger local connections.
GOAT is lovingly organized by a dedicated group of community volunteers — people who believe in the power of Agile thinking and want to make this conference available to everyone. There is no large corporation behind this event; just passionate practitioners giving their time to make it happen.
"GOAT is a success due to the many members of the community willing to attend and contribute to our rich conversations."
Agile Ottawa has provided a space for Agile practitioners to come together and share their knowledge since 2009.
Our last full conference, GOAT 2019 at the Shaw Centre, welcomed 500+ attendees before the conference paused.
We are actively planning Goat 2.0 as a focused peer exchange on AI, geopolitical, and delivery pressure risks. The conference will take place in November 2026 — stay tuned for the exact date and venue announcement.
